Ingredients:

  • 680 g of ground beef
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasonings (crab seasoning)
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 8 slices of cheese
  • 4 English muffins (unsweetened yeast buns, fried in a pan)
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped pickled cucumbers, plus 2 teaspoons of brine
  • Small lettuce leaves, sliced ​​tomatoes and potato chips for serving

Preparation:

  1. Combine the ground beef, seasoning mix, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl and mix with your hands. Form into 8 very thin patties and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 4 patties and fry until browned, about 2 minutes.

    Flip, top each patty with a slice of cheese, and cook until the cheese begins to melt, about 1 minute. Transfer to a large plate and cover with foil; wipe out the pan. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and repeat with the remaining patties and cheese.
  3. Fry a little English muffins (optional) Combine the Dijonnaise, sliced ​​cucumbers, and brine in a small bowl. Top the bottom bun with lettuce leaves, 2 burgers, tomato slices, and the Dijonnaise-cucumber mixture. Top with the other bun. Serve with potato chips.
