Chocolate-orange fondue

Ingredients:

    Fondue

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, washed, dried and hulled
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 2 bananas, peeled and cut into 5-6 cm long slices.
  • 350 grams thick, salty pretzels
  • 120 g dried apricots
  • 180 g roasted salted almonds

    Rich chocolate dipping sauce

  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) butter
  • 120 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tsp dark rum
  • 1/8 tsp. grated orange zest

Preparation:

  1. Arrange all fondue ingredients on a platter. Serve with warm Rich Chocolate Dip. See also: Weekend Dish - Portioned Vanilla pudding with oatmeal cookies.

    Rich chocolate dipping sauce


    In a medium saucepan, bring the cream, sugar, cinnamon, and butter to a simmer over low heat. Remove from the heat, add the chocolate, and stir until melted. Before serving, stir in the rum and orange zest.
