Ingredients:
- 450 g chilled pizza dough (fresh, not frozen)
- 170 g of baked beef slices
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil, plus a little more for greasing
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Salt
- 2 cups shredded cabbage with carrots (recipe with red cabbage)
- 1 tbsp. l. rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 - 1/2 tsp chili oil
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seed oil
- 3 thinly sliced green onions
- 1/2 tsp grated peeled ginger
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
Preparation:
- Microwave the pizza dough at 50% power for 1-2 minutes, until softened, then let it rest for 5 minutes. Grease a large plate with vegetable oil, shape the dough into a 9-inch (23 cm) circle, and place it on the plate. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of sesame seeds and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- In a bowl, combine the salad mixture, wine vinegar, chili oil, and salt to taste. In another bowl, combine the beef, sesame oil, green onions, and ginger.
- In a large nonstick skillet, heat 3 tablespoons vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Place the dough, sesame-side down, and sprinkle with the remaining tablespoon of sesame seeds. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the flatbread, shaking the pan occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side, turning the flatbread with tongs.
Transfer it to a paper towel, add salt and let it cool.
- Wipe out the skillet and place it over high heat. Add the beef and fry until crispy, 1-2 minutes. Cut the tortilla in half. Place the meat, lettuce, and cilantro on the bottom half. Cover with the top half and cut into 4 triangles.
