Ingredients:
- 12 crispy chocolate chip cookies, or chocolate wafers
- 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Preparation:
- Place the chocolate chip cookies in a food processor and process until smooth; transfer to a bowl. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon and mix thoroughly. Stir in the melted butter until the cookies are evenly coated.
- Spoon the mixture into a 9-inch (22 cm) pie pan and press it into the bottom and up the sides to form the pie crust. Bake the crust before adding the filling (see below).
- If the pie filling requires no-bake baking, bake the crust at 375°F (190°C) until dry, about 10 minutes. The baking time will vary depending on how crisp your cookies are.
