Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg ground beef
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, cut in half on the sides
- Diced onion, relish, mustard, ketchup, pickle slices, sliced tomatoes and shredded lettuce, for serving
Preparation:
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and brush the grates with vegetable oil. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form it into four 1/2-inch-thick patties; use your thumb or a teaspoon to make a small indentation in the surface of each patty.
- Grill the patties for about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. Top with a slice of cheese and grill for another 2 minutes to melt. Meanwhile, lightly toast the buns.
- Place the patties cheese side down on the buns and top with onions. relish, mustard, ketchup, pickled cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce.
