Konga Chocolate Bars topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 150 gr. self-raising flour, sifted
- 225 gr. brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 250 g melted butter
- 2 tbsp vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
- 300 g dark chocolate, chopped
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (conventional – 200°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the sugar and eggs with a mixer until smooth. Then, whisking constantly, add the melted butter, vanilla, salt, and flour.
- Add the chocolate and fold it in with a wooden spoon. Then, pour the batter into a lightly greased shallow baking pan, smooth the top, and tap the pan on the counter to release any air bubbles. Bake for about 20-30 minutes, until the cake is set but still slightly soft in the center.
- Cool the finished cake and cut into bars.
