Fresh citrus with gelato and almond cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 blood oranges, peeled and sliced ​​into rounds
  • 2 naveline oranges, peeled and sliced ​​into rounds
  • 1 pink grapefruit, peeled and divided into segments
  • 0.5 tsp salt flakes, such as Maldon
  • 2/3 cup crushed almonds biscotti cookies
  • 2 cups vanilla gelato
  • 4 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons orange blossom honey

Preparation:

  1. Divide the oranges and grapefruit evenly among four shallow dessert bowls. Sprinkle with flaky salt and crushed almonds. Top with a spoonful of gelato and drizzle evenly with olive oil and honey. Serve immediately.
