Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp olive oil + extra for greasing the grill
- 12 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tbsp. black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp chipotle sea salt
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- Barbecue sauce, for serving (optional)
Preparation:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill with olive oil.
- Place the chicken in a resealable plastic bag. Crush the peppercorns with a mortar and pestle and transfer to a bowl. Add the salt and garlic and stir. Add the mixture to the bag with the chicken and drizzle with olive oil. Seal the bag and shake to coat all the drumsticks.
- Grill the drumsticks, turning every 5-7 minutes, until cooked through, 30-35 minutes. Serve with barbecue sauce, if desired.
