Overnight Oats: Blueberry Almond No-Cook Oats

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 0.5 cups oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup blueberries
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp finely grated lemon zest
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 drops of almond extract
  • 1 tbsp toasted sliced ​​almonds
  • 2 tsp. honey or agave nectar

Preparation:

  1. The night before, combine milk, oats, blueberries, brown sugar, lemon zest, vanilla, almond extract, and a pinch of salt in a glass jar or other container with a lid. Seal and shake well. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  2. In the morning, garnish the porridge with almonds and drizzle with honey.
