Baked Ham with Orange-Fig Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 1 half of spiral-cut ham
  • 1 cup fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Grated zest of 1 orange
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to the temperature indicated on the ham packaging and bake according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Remove the ham from the oven approximately 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the fig jam, mustard, orange zest, and juice and heat over low heat. Cook, stirring, until the jam has melted (do not boil). Spread half the glaze over the ham and bake for another 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the ham from the oven and drizzle with the remaining glaze. Transfer to a cutting board and slice.
