Ingredients:

  • 200 g of 2% plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese (about 60 g)
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 2 tbsp chopped mint
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 600 g lean ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 4 sesame seed burger buns or potato buns, halved and toasted
  • Green salad and tomato slices for assembling the burger
  • Potato chips for serving

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, feta, cucumber, mint, half the garlic, 1 tablespoon of water, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of ground black pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the ground meat, remaining garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of ground black pepper. Form into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil, then add the patties and cook until golden brown and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Spread yogurt sauce on buns and assemble sandwiches with patty, lettuce, and tomato. Serve with potato chips.
