Chocolate covered cherries

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper. Pat the cherries dry with paper towels.
  2. Melt the two types of chocolate separately using a stainless steel bowl set over simmering water in a saucepan. Stir until smooth.
  3. Holding the cherry by the stem, dip it into the melted glaze. If desired, coat one half with white chocolate and the other with dark chocolate. Place the chocolate-covered cherry on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining cherries and melted chocolate.
  4. Refrigerate for approximately 40 minutes before serving.
