Fudge Brownie

Ingredients:

  • 110 g (1 cup) butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 150 g of dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 and 1/4 cups premium flour
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate
  • 700 g of white chocolate with almonds

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 22 x 33 cm baking pan.

    In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and dark chocolate over low heat, stirring occasionally, until completely melted. Add the cocoa powder and mix thoroughly until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the sugar and vanilla until completely dissolved. Add the eggs one at a time. Slowly add the flour and stir. Add the white chocolate and stir until smooth.

    Place the dough (it will be very thick!) into the baking dish and smooth it out.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, then check the brownies for doneness with a toothpick. If they're not done yet, return them to the oven for another 5-10 minutes (be careful not to burn the edges).

    Let the pie cool completely. Cut into 4-5 cm long strips and place on a wire rack over a baking sheet.

    Melt the almond white chocolate in a double boiler (or microwave for 30 seconds). Dip one end of each brownie into the almond mixture, then return it to the rack. Let the glaze set, 5 to 10 minutes.
