Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Rioja wine
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons dark spiced rum
- 3 tablespoons orange liqueur
- 1 navel orange, sliced into rounds
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced into wedges
- 3 ripe plums, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Berries for decoration (raspberries, blackberries)
- Sparkling water for serving
Preparation:
- In a large pitcher, combine sugar, rum, orange liqueur, fruit, and a cinnamon stick. Pour in a bottle of wine and chill the sangria for several hours.
To serve, arrange the fruit in glasses or goblets and pour in the wine. Top the glasses with a splash of sparkling water.
