Orange tea with spices topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 4 bags of black tea
- 4 tbsp of water
- 6 carnation buds
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- Peel of 1/2 orange
- Zest of 1/2 orange
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 tablespoons of honey
Preparation:
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and cardamom to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and cover. Steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid, return it to the saucepan, and reheat. Add the tea bags, steep for a few minutes, then add the orange peel and zest. Add the milk and honey. Pour into mugs and serve.
