White rice

Ingredients:

  • 1.4 kg washed rice
  • 6 chopped cloves of garlic
  • 9 tbsp of water
  • 3 tbsp. salt
  • 9 tablespoons of oil

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a shallow ceramic saucepan and sauté the garlic. Turn off the heat and remove the garlic from the oil. Pour in water, season with salt, and bring to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and stir.

    Bring to a vigorous boil again, cover the pan and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
