Ingredients:
- 1 kg of unpeeled potatoes
- 1 cup whole milk
- 110 g unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill + fresh dill sprigs for serving
- 2 tbsp. prepared horseradish
Preparation:
- Place the potatoes in a medium saucepan, cover with cold water, and add 2 tablespoons of salt. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, until tender, about 45 minutes. Drain.
- Peel the potatoes and return them to the pan (optional, press them through a potato masher after peeling). Mash the potatoes with the milk and butter using a fork or potato masher. Add the dill, horseradish, and 2 teaspoons of salt; season with pepper to taste. Garnish with dill sprigs.
