Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 0.5 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 cups premium flour
- 0.5 cup whole grain flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt or less
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate (60 g), coarsely chopped
- 1/3 cup milk chocolate (60 g), coarsely chopped
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans, optional
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar with a fork until smooth. Add the butter and egg and mix until smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Add the dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and nuts and mix well. Drop 1 tablespoon of the batter onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
