No-Bake Cow Patties

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 110 g unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cups of milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 2.5–3 cups oatmeal

Preparation:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, cocoa, milk, and vanilla. Bring to a gentle simmer and simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.
  2. Add the peanut butter and 2.5 cups of rolled oats. The mixture should be thick; if it's too runny, add another 0.5 cup of rolled oats. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to cool.
  3. Line a baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper. Drop the mixture in 1-tbsp mounds onto the lined baking sheet. Let the cookies set at room temperature for 1 hour. Store in a tightly sealed container.
