Sweet potato in the air fryer

Ingredients:

  • Two sweet potatoes, 200g each, washed
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Unsalted butter for serving
  • Chopped fresh chives for serving
  • Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 6 liters.

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the sweet potatoes with the olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and black pepper, coating them evenly.
  2. Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook at 200°C until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, turning halfway through, 35–40 minutes.
  3. Cut the top of each potato lengthwise, being careful not to burn yourself with the hot steam. Then fluff the flesh with a fork and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Top with a knob of butter and a sprinkling of green onions.
