Hot peanut sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp peanut or other vegetable oil
  • 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Preparation:

  1. In a small skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil, add the cayenne pepper and garlic and cook, stirring, until golden brown, about 1 minute.
  2. Add peanut butter, ketchup, and 0.5 cups of water and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
