Waffle sandwich with berries, banana and chocolate-hazelnut spread topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. chocolate-hazelnut spread
- 2 tbsp. whipped cream cheese
- 2 frozen waffles, not soured milk (or Belgian)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large strawberries, cut into pieces
- Half a small banana, peeled and cut into about 6 lengthwise wedges
Preparation:
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon and set aside. In another small bowl, combine the chocolate-hazelnut spread and cream cheese until smooth; set aside.
- Toast the waffles until golden brown. Brush both sides of each waffle with melted butter and sprinkle both sides with cinnamon sugar.
- Spread both halves of the waffle evenly with the chocolate-raw spread. Arrange the strawberries and bananas on one waffle and top with the second waffle.
