Fried dumplings with brown butter and dill

Ingredients:

  • 450 g frozen potato dumplings
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest and juice

Preparation:

  1. Cook a 16-ounce (450 g) package of frozen vareniki according to the label directions. Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; cook until darkened, 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add the vareniki, 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill, 1 teaspoon each lemon zest and juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until lightly browned, about 1 more minute.
