Ingredients:
Basic Banana and Avocado Smoothie
- 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp. ground flax seeds
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 medium ripe banana
- Half a ripe avocado
- 1 cup ice cubes
Pink
- 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 boiled beetroot, diced
Yellow
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks, thawed
- 0.5 tsp ground turmeric
Green
- 1 cup frozen white grapes
- 0.5 cup kale leaves
- 0.5 cup diced pineapple
Violet
- 1.5 cups frozen blueberries, thawed
Preparation:
- Basic Banana and Avocado Smoothie:
Combine almond milk, flax seeds, honey, banana, and avocado in a blender. Blend on high speed until almost smooth, about 1 minute. Add ice cubes and blend until smooth.
- To make the smoothie pink, yellow, green, or purple, add the color additives for each type and blend again until smooth.
