Dinner rolls with garlic butter

Ingredients:

  • 440 g butter
  • 24 frozen buns (dough)
  • 16 cloves of garlic, pressed through a garlic press
  • Coarse sea salt
  • Special equipment: 2 metal 12-cup muffin pans

Preparation:

  1. Melt 55g of butter and grease muffin tins. Place frozen buns in the muffin tins. Cover and let rise for several hours.
  2. In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt the remaining 12 ounces (385 g) of butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for a few minutes until fragrant, but don't let the garlic brown.
  3. Once the dough has risen, lightly brush the buns with garlic butter and sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Bake the buns according to package directions (usually 200°C for 6-8 minutes) until golden brown on top.
  5. Remove the buns from the oven, brush with additional garlic butter and serve warm.
