Ingredients:
Sauce
- 0.5 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp. l. sweet rice wine
- 1 tbsp + 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1.5 tsp chopped garlic
- 1.5 tsp chopped ginger
Glaze
- 0.5 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. water
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Glaze:
To make the glaze, mix 0.5 tablespoons of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water. Heat the sauce over medium heat and add the cornstarch-water mixture. Simmer until thickened. Exit: 1 tbsp.
