Soft waffles

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1.5 cups premium flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Melt the butter in the microwave. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the milk and eggs. Stir the liquid mixture into the flour mixture and knead into a dough. Add the melted butter. Grease a hot waffle iron with oil. Spoon about 0.5 cups of batter into the iron, close it, and cook. This first waffle will be your test. Cook the waffles until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and keep warm in an oven preheated to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius).
