Olive relish (snack sauce)

Ingredients:

  • 2 onions, cut into 1cm squares.
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup pitted olives
  • 1/4 cup white wine

Preparation:

  1. Pour olive oil into the pan, add the onion and salt. Cook on low, covered, for 10 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking for another 30 minutes, until golden brown. Add the garlic, tomato paste, olives, and white wine; cook for another 10 minutes.
