Ingredients:
- 220 g of pasta
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing the pan
- 2 cups light cream
- 3 large eggs
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 2 cups grated cheddar (about 170 g)
- 1 cup grated Muenster (about 90 g)
- 1 cup grated provolone cheese (about 90 g)
- 0.5 cup shredded whole milk mozzarella (about 60 g)
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
- Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and transfer the pasta to a medium bowl; add the butter and stir until completely melted.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cream, eggs, paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of ground black pepper until smooth. Add the pasta, 1 1/2 cups of cheddar, Muenster, provolone, and mozzarella; stir to combine.
- Transfer the pasta mixture to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar. Bake until bubbly around the edges and set, 30-35 minutes. Let cool for about 30 minutes before serving.
