Spicy grilled chicken wings

Ingredients:

    Chicken wings

  • 12 whole chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves
  • 2 cups blue cheese dressing, recipe below

    Blue cheese dressing

  • 110 g of blue cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold running water, then pat dry completely with paper towels. Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with garlic salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and oregano. Sprinkle the seasoning on only one side of the wings if you prefer a milder flavor. For spicier wings, toss them with the seasoning to coat them on all sides. Then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the chicken wings, turning once, until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork. Serve immediately with blue cheese sauce.
  4. Blue Cheese Sauce:


    Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
